WHEN IN CANADA…
Now that we mention it, your living room will do just fine as the perfect setting to sit back and enjoy a post-dinner chill-out session with a sip—or several—of Country Thunder, a smooth Canadian Whisky. Distilled from cereal grain, Country Thunder was aged for 3 years in small barrels, a process that reveals light summer straw on the nose, followed by a green mid-palate and finally, a finish that balances vanilla and spice.
WHICH IS IT? WHISKY OR WHISKEY?
If you’ve seen the spirit spelled both ways, your eyes aren’t deceiving you. So which one is right? As it turns out, both are correct—depending on where you are in the world. Both Scotland and Canada have opted to lose the “e,” while Ireland and the U.S. prefer to call it “whiskey.” But there’s one thing that everyone agrees on: Country Thunder is smooth, balanced, and dependable.
WHILE YOU’RE AT IT, MAKE A CANADIAN COCKTAIL.
Country Thunder is a 3-year Canadian whisky so you might as well try some cocktails that fit the mash bill. Try a classic Canadian Cocktail, a citrusy, light elixir that balances sweet, bitter, and that classic whisky spice. Or try a twist on an old-fashioned by using maple syrup instead of sugar. But Country Thunder will also perform well with a simple highball or anything with muddled peaches.
